Since Chanel named BLACKPINK's Jennie a global ambassador in 2018, 24 luxury houses have given K-pop idols at least 44 global or house ambassador roles. Gucci has made the most, with six.

BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) member Jennie (제니; real name Kim Jennie, 김제니) began working with Chanel through its Korean beauty business in January 2018 and became an ambassador for Chanel Korea that June. In October 2018 Chanel named her a global ambassador, the earliest appointment in this list.1

She has since fronted several Chanel campaigns. In March 2025 she became a face of the Chanel 25 handbag campaign alongside the English singer Dua Lipa.1

Jisoo, Dior and Cartier 지수

Jisoo (지수; real name Kim Ji-soo, 김지수) first worked with Dior as a local ambassador for Dior Beauty in December 2019. In March 2021 Dior named her a global ambassador for both fashion and beauty.2

On May 25, 2022, Cartier announced her as a brand ambassador for its Panthère de Cartier line, and her Wikipedia article describes her as a global ambassador for both houses.2

Rosé: Saint Laurent, Tiffany and YSL Beauty 로제

Rosé (로제; real name Park Chae-young, 박채영) was named global ambassador for Saint Laurent in July 2020 by its creative director, Anthony Vaccarello. Wikipedia records her as the house's first global ambassador in 59 years.3

Tiffany & Co. made her a global ambassador in April 2021, and she starred in its 2021 and 2022 HardWear campaigns. Saint Laurent's separate beauty line, YSL Beauty, named her its muse in January 2021 and its global ambassador in January 2025.3

Lisa: Celine, Bulgari and Louis Vuitton 리사

Lisa (리사), BLACKPINK's Thai member, became the muse of Celine's creative director Hedi Slimane in January 2019 and was named the house's global ambassador in September 2020. Bulgari appointed her in July 2020.4

In July 2024 she became a house ambassador for Louis Vuitton.4 BLACKPINK's own Wikipedia article notes that each member has been a global ambassador for a different luxury house: Jisoo for Dior, Jennie for Chanel, Rosé for Saint Laurent, and Lisa for Bulgari and Celine.38

BTS, together and solo 방탄소년단

BTS became global brand ambassadors for Louis Vuitton as a group in April 2021.5 The first solo appointments in the table came in 2023: Jimin (지민) joined Dior as a global ambassador in January and Tiffany & Co. as a house ambassador in March, and V (뷔) joined Celine as a global ambassador in March.67

Jin (진) became the jeweller Fred's first global brand ambassador in July 2024 and a Gucci global brand ambassador in August 2024. Jung Kook (정국) was named a global ambassador for Chanel Fragrance & Beauty at the end of 2025, and for the Swiss watchmaker Hublot in February 2026.89

Three more members hold roles that Wikipedia records only as "brand ambassador", without a global or house label, so they sit outside the table: Suga at Valentino (January 2023), J-Hope at Louis Vuitton (February 2023) and RM, Bottega Veneta's first celebrity brand ambassador (March 2023). V also became a Cartier brand ambassador in July 2023.1012117

Louis Vuitton announced Hyein (혜인) as a global house ambassador on December 30, 2022, making her the brand's youngest ambassador at 14. Danielle (다니엘) followed with Burberry in January 2023, YSL Beauty in March 2023 and Celine in March 2024.2018

Gucci signed Hanni (하니) as an ambassador in October 2022 and named her a global ambassador in February 2023, the same month Armani Beauty made her a global ambassador. On April 26, 2023, Dior named Haerin (해린) a global ambassador for jewellery and a house ambassador for fashion and beauty.1719

The fifth member, Minji (민지), was signed in February 2023 by Chanel Korea for beauty, fashion, and watches and jewellery. As a role for Korea, it is not in the table.21

Versace named Hyunjin (현진) a global brand ambassador in July 2023, its first South Korean and first Asian male ambassador. Louis Vuitton made Felix (필릭스) a house ambassador in August 2023, and Gucci named Lee Know (리노) a global brand ambassador in June 2025.262527

Bandmate Bang Chan was announced by Fendi as a brand ambassador on January 16, 2025, a role Wikipedia does not label global or house.2839

Kai (카이; real name Kim Jong-in, 김종인) was named a Gucci global brand ambassador in September 2019, and Gucci and Vogue released a short film about him that December as part of their "The Performers" series.13

Sehun (세훈) became the face of Dior Men in October 2020 and Dior's first male global ambassador in December 2021. Bandmate Baekhyun was named a Burberry brand ambassador in September 2020.1415
