Covers South Korean entertainers who were 18 or older on the date above. Idols' heights come from their kpopping profiles, the same figures as DabPop's tallest female K-pop idols ranking; everyone else's come from their Korean Wikipedia article, from its infobox or a sentence stating the person's height. Entertainers there means the people Korean Wikipedia files as South Korean actors, models, TV personalities, TV hosts or comedians, plus South Korean musicians with a kpopping profile. Model and TV personality Hong Jin-kyung, whom kpopping lists through the variety-show project Unnies, is counted from her kpopping profile. Korean Wikipedia gives a height in only 530 of the 7,915 articles read, and many actors publish none, so this is a ranking of listed heights, not a census: tall stars with no height in either source can't appear. All heights are as published (by agencies, the people themselves or the press), not measured by DabPop; feet and inches are converted and rounded to the nearest inch. Where both sources give a figure, kpopping's is used; former HELLOVENUS member Kwon Nara is listed at 174 cm there and 175 cm on Wikipedia, which would move her up one place. One Wikipedia figure that clashes sharply with the person's published profiles is held back until a source DabPop can open settles it. The table stops at the 100th tallest and includes everyone tied with her, so it has 139 rows. Ties share a rank and are listed alphabetically. Refreshed monthly.12
Hong Jin-kyung entered entertainment as a high-school student, taking the best-pose prize at SBS's 2nd Supermodel contest in 1993. She became better known as a comedian and variety host, and has also acted, worked as a DJ and sung with the group Unnies (언니쓰).43
In 2004 she founded a food company, starting with kimchi, and in 2021 she launched the YouTube channel Gongbuwang Jjincheonjae (공부왕 찐천재).4
